Join us, and our wonderful instructor, Sandy B, for this fun and interactive Mahjong workshop. She will guide everyone through live play, helping you learn the rules as you go, and to build confidence at the table.

Beginner Plus (Play): Wednesday, October 14; Wednesday, October 21; or Thursday, October 29

1:00-3:00 pm and 3:30-5:30 pm

By the end of class you will know:

• How to set up a game
• Make walls
• Distribute the tiles
• Use dice to pick the starting player
• Use dice to “break” the starting player’s wall
• What the Charleston is and how to set it up
• Tips on what to keep and pass during the Charleston
• How to play a complete game

The remainder of the class will be spent playing full games of Mahjong. It's the perfect next step if you're ready to move from learning to playing!

To attend the Beginner Plus workshop, you will need to be familiar with the items above, by having attended a previous Beginner and/or Beginner Plus workshop. To play interactively, it helps if you recognize the tiles and know a little about how the game works.
